YWCA- Host a Meal program provide meals for homeless families at YWCA facility in Northeast Columbus. YWCA facility typically provides three meals and two snacks per day in this temporary housing facility that houses approximately 50 families until they are found safe and affordable housing. YWCA – Host a Meal – April 30,2016
On April 30, eight adults and two kids got up early in the morning at 5:00 to volunteer at the YWCA Family Center in Columbus. The COMA volunteers cooked and served eggs, tater tots, sausage, toast, orange juice, fresh fruit, and coffee for needy families.
Past Events -2015
Central Ohio Malayalee community donated five thousand dollars ($5000.00) for the “Wounded Warrior Project” (Wounded Warrior Project is a charity and veterans’ service organization that offers a variety of programs, services, and events for wounded veterans).
